the first one, for many reasons. benzoyl peroxide is very drying. it can help, but you have to be careful. vitamins are your best bet, especially vitamin e. its good for wrinkles as well. another good ingredient is salicylic acid, which rids you have acne quickly.Which skincare product would be better for acne prone sensitive skin based on the ingredients?
None are really that great but at least the first one has a few ingredients that are natural. You can buy products that are a lot better for skin that is very sensitive. Try an organic castile soap with tea tree(Dr. bronnners is a great product). You can also take and add other organic oils if you want. Burdock, red clover, rosehip, and some other oils have worked well for me(my skin was once like yours).
Good quality coconut and emu oils are great..A little goes a long way. I buy my products from mountain rose. A 8 oz. castile soap, rose water, etc..cleaner lasts me about 6 months. A 1 oz. bottle of organic skin oil I use after toning last about a year or more. So overall I save a lot of money!
The first list of 'natural' things - give it a whirl -
Benzoyl peroxide is great at drying out pimples, and bacteria but does a # on sensitive skin

Are there any good all-natural (or mostly natural) skincare products for normal/dry, acne-prone skin?
I asked this question before, but I kept getting answers like ';Neutrogena works wonders'; or ';St. Ives is sooo natural'; (uh, actually, no... not even close), and even suggestions to use Proactiv (do I really have to touch on that one? too drying even with a heavy moisturizer).
I think that the chemicals in skin products are only worsening my acne and drying my face out (although it is winter, it is always this dry). I don't mind a chemical lower in the ingredient list, but I don't want a product based on artificiality.
*I asked this earlier in a different category, but got NO answers :(Are there any good all-natural (or mostly natural) skincare products for normal/dry, acne-prone skin?
Lush products are great! They are handmade and natural. I had spotting on my face and now after about 3 weeks its pretty clear now. I use the Coalface soap once in the morning and once at night, Tea tree toner every morning, and a small bit of vanishing cream moisturizer in the morning and night
They tend to be a bit pricey, but compared to these chemical acne treatments on the market, its a good dealAre there any good all-natural (or mostly natural) skincare products for normal/dry, acne-prone skin?
Maybe you could try the oil cleansing method?
http://beauty-treatments.suite101.com/ar鈥?/a>
It sounds weird, but a lot of people like it. It doesn't work too well for me, personally, but it's worth a try. Plus it's about as natural as it gets.
Juice Beauty. Heres a link for the product for acne... http://sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?鈥?/a>
Proactiv should work BUT if not you can use some type of Coco butter but you need to use practiv regularly !!!!!!!!!

Anyone tried Harrogate Sulphur Soap and Skincare for eczema, psoriasis and acne?
Hello!
A few months ago I read somewhere about the wonders of Harrogate Sulphur skin treatments for eczema, psoriasis and acne. I did some research on the product and there's not much information out there. Sulphur treatments (mainly Prosacea) has worked wonders for my face and I wanted to hear some feedback on the Harrogate SkinCare products.
Thanks!
P.S. PLEASE don't reply with a ';Never heard of it...'; This service is for actual questions-answers....not random comments.Anyone tried Harrogate Sulphur Soap and Skincare for eczema, psoriasis and acne?
I don't know. I seen the Sulphur part and when my grandpa was younger they made him take a mixture of cream of tartar (it's what makes after dinner mints a solid) and sulphur. They made tablets for him to eat. He said it was bitter but it put him into remission, He's been Psoriasis free for over 60 years now.
Myself, I wanted sulphur tablets but the dr refuses to prescribe anything with sulfur saying it has high counts for causing cancer. It worried me so I'm on Raptiva.
Have you thought of calling a dermotologist to ask them what they thought of the product? I don't know about your city, but mine you can call up Dr's and they will give you their opinion on items such as that.

Skincare routine for combination, moderate acne, and acne scars?
Hi!
Recently i've been having a pretty bad time with my skin. I've been swapping my skin care routine around because i just CANT find a good skin care rountine for my combination skin , and i have moderate acne on forehead, cheeks and chin area. I also have many dark acne scars on my cheeks and on the right of my eye area---they are so noticable and visible.
It is really annoying because ive been reading so many product reviews and wanting to buy all these cleansers, moisturizers, toners, spot-treatments, masques, sprays, creams...you know...everything!
I currently use:
Clearasil daily gel wash
Clean and Clear oil-free toner (which i will stop using cause it has alcohol!)
Clean and Clear oil-free moisturizer
Clearasil ultra 5% benzoyl peroxide cream (and on other nights i use Mario Badescy Drying Lotion, but that sometimes makes me break out even more!)
I really dont know what to do, right now i look like a horrible ugly monster with scars, combination skin and lots of pimples and so many blackheads on my T-Zone.
Please help me by suggesting some products i could use for
1. Cleanser, Moisturizer (and toner if you think thats neccesary)
2. Spot treatment, or acne cream/gel.
3. Acne scars
I live in australia so we dont have all the products that the US and other countries have :(
Thanks so much for reading all this!!
:)Skincare routine for combination, moderate acne, and acne scars?
I would go to a store that carries natural products (e.g. vitamin store) and buy an all natural face wash/moisturizer for sensitive skin. Also, AHAVA products typically work very well (they're from the Dead Sea).
Also, make sure that your diet is well balanced. Try and cleanse your system and drink pure fruit/vegetable juices (not from stores, but freshly made with a juicer).Skincare routine for combination, moderate acne, and acne scars?
Vivo Per Lei has an incredible facial care line, composed of all natural healing minerals from the dead sea that people pay a ton of money for at spas around the world, but you can buy and apply these products in your own home. Natural products are the only way to go to deep clean the pores and not fill them with some new ingredient and throw off your face natural balance, therefore you acheive healthy skin and a natural glow. I am 43 and had tried every cheap and expensive product, nothing brought out the natural balance and beauty of my skin until i found Vivo Per Lei, it will give you fantastic, clean, clear %26amp; healthy complexion. Vivo Per Lei has a couple of exfoliating choices also in the Facial Peel and Pearle Mousse peeling that are wonderful! Please visit https://www.infashionsense.com and take some time to read about VIVO PER LEI (there is a VIVO PER LEI button about 1/3 of the way down the page, it will tell you all about the benefits of healing minerals from the dead sea) and then have a look at the WHITE COLLECTION (which is all the facial care line) should you have questions about which care products would be best for you please email or use the live chat on the store - you won't be dissappointed!bad girls club

The best acne skincare???!!!?
i am SOOOO tired of getting acne all my friends dont get it. im the only one and i mostly get whiteheads and they always leave behind scarring these need to be really good products and give me results and start clearing up acne and a very short time so i want to know the best acne fighting
cleanser
scrub
facial
astrigent
toner
and moisturizer
i dont care how much it is im willing to pay ANYTHING to get rid of my acne and get clear healthy skin,The best acne skincare???!!!?
I am 34 and NEVER had acne in high school, but started getting it when I was an adult, so I feel your pain.
I use Proactiv Solution which works VERY WELL for many people, and it was absolutely the ONLY thing that worked for me...(I was too scared to try Accutane as the side effects sound horrible, but I do hear it works well)
Now, Proactiv solves a lot of your problems because it is a cleanser, a scrub, a toner and a moisturizer, as well as an acne fighter.
Caution:
When you first start using it, you can get VERY dry and red skin which looks worse, but if you get their cream, or any lotion that is NON-comodogenic (does not clog pores, and non-scented) you will be just fine.
It really does work great, so you may want to try it but don't let them talk you into the automatic plan, otherwise you get an automatic shipment every 6 weeks for $45 or so, and after things are under control, you don't need a ton of the stuff, so just try one box and if it works re-order when you are about 2 weeks out and you'll be fine.
Good luck, acne is horrible, and I hate it so I hope something works for you!The best acne skincare???!!!?
I have heard that Mario Badescu products work really well, especially for acne, Why won't you go ahead and look at their website you may never know if their products might work for you.

Hope their products work for you
:) God Bless
I was in Japan for three months and I now have clear, porcelain white skin. Here's some tips
* Sleep! At least 7 hours a night
*NO processed food. As close to natural as possible.
*Eat healthy. Fish, fruit, veggies, soy milk, whole grains, etc.
*Water!!!!
*Drink tea, especially white and green teas.
*Exercise
*DO NOT use facial scrubs. They activate your oil glands.
*Wash your face twice a day with Neutrogena Oil FREE Acne Wash.
*Get vitamin e cream and put a light coat of it on your face at night.
edit: get pure (100%) camellia oil. splash your face with warm water, and put a small amount on your face for about a minute, and wash off with COLD water.

Make a warm bath with blanch of nettle and rosemary to reduce the acne.
Home remedy for acne: Apply equal amount of lemon juice and rose water with a cotton ball, leave for half an hour and wash. Repeat for 15-20 days.
Rub the acne with garlic cloves several times a day.
Natural remedy for acne with avocado: Wash face with avocado paste mixed with water.
Bedouin meds:
Eat a medium grated radish with every meal.

ACCUTANE WILL MAKE YOU BEAUTIFUL, BUT IT HAS SOME PRETTY GNARLY SIDE EFFECTS.
hang in there,iv discovered a really good well i dont know what to call it but its good for acne.i just have to do more research and get my mom to pay for the funding.i use and its really good but it kind of stinks.sorry i cant tell you what it is.
Accutane is not nearly as scary as it sounds or looks. Doctors have to diclose everything to you no matter how small the chance those side affects may occur. I had mild acne in college and was so frustrated, I asked my dermatologist to put me on Accutane. It was the best decision I ever made. My skin was gorgeous within a few months. I was only on it for 6 months and my skin has never gone back to how it was before (6 years later). However, it WILL cause birth defects, so if you're sexually active, you will be required to be on the pill as well as take routine pregnancy tests. If you're not willing to go quite that far, I would still see a dermatologist. He/she can prescribe a number of medications that should help calm things down.
I recommend using a pure soap such as Dove or Cetaphil for a cleanser (Cetaphil is my personal preference). If you have open pimples or irritated acne, I wouldn鈥檛 use any type of scrub as this can just make things worse. My dermatologist recommended Witch Hazel as an astringent. It鈥檚 very mild, but does the job and won鈥檛 dry your skin out. For on the spot treatment, Clean and Clear鈥檚 salicylic acid (purple and silver tube) does a pretty good job. I also use Cetaphil鈥檚 moisturizer as it does not clog pores and makes my skin feel great.
I know how frustrating acne can be, no matter how mild or severe. Hope this helps!

I need skincare Help! Has anyone used Aloette ';simply clear'; to correct acne prone skin??
I want to know if Aloette worked for others out there before spending the money and/or time trying something new. Right now I'm using proactiv but its not working as well as it first did. I'm getting stressed out %26amp; I need help!I need skincare Help! Has anyone used Aloette ';simply clear'; to correct acne prone skin??
I am an Aloette consultant. Our Simply Clear is a very gentle alternative to the harshness and drying of products that contain Benzoyl peroxide. They mild daily exfoliating cleanser helps to remove dead skin cells, which trap dirt, oils %26amp; makeup, and deep cleans your pores.
The Deep Action Toner not only removes anything that resettled while rinsing. It also soothes, calms and helas your skin.
The oil free moisturizer was designed for oily or acne prone skin. Moisturizing is important, no matter waht your skin type.
It will keep it nourished, hydrated and protected, without adding any oils or clogging your pores.
And the Acne Treatment Lotion is the best zit zapper I have ever seen. Several of my nieces use the system. They had tried just about anything %26amp; everything out their. Nothing hepled but the Simply Clear.
I would definitely give it a try. Just remember. . . the Pro-Active is very drying, so sometimes your body will compensate by producing more oils. You may see a bit of a flare up for about a week. Don't stop using the products. It will calm down, and your skin will be great!

The best way to treat acne is to have a great gut, that is where it acne starts. ALL drugs are toxic (poison). Your face is not what you eat, but what you digest. Nutrition is most likely feeding a fungus in the gut. Stop all sugar because fungus loves to feed on it: starve the fungus.
Give the gut good foods and it will reward you with a pretty skin. Go to ';www.knowthecause.com'; and click on ';FAQ's'; and do the diet. Supply the gut with pro-biotics

Skincare for oily and acne prone skin?
I want to know what is the correct skincare for them.
I currently use
1. Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser
2. Witch natural beauty Toner
3. St. Ives eye stress gel
4. Differin adapalene gel (for acne)
5. Witch clear complexion mosituriser
6. Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-touch sunblock SPF 30
Am i using the products in the correct order?
After using the sunblock can I put makeup over it?Skincare for oily and acne prone skin?
STOP eating and drinking foods with refined or artificial sugars, like high fructose corn syrup, crystalline fructose or aspartame/phenylalanine. Up your vitamin C, K %26amp; A. Do some exercise like dancing or yoga. Get a little sun everyday, no more than 10 minutes if you have a light complexion. Drink more water. Try using witchazel as a toner during the day, and unfiltered apple cider vinegar at night.
A raw potato is cheap and brilliant acne natural cure, especially for whiteheads. The vitamin C makes your skin glow, and alkaline in the potato kills the bacteria on your face. The potato also has an exfoliating effect helping you to get rid of dead skin cells. Papaya fruit produces similar effect; you should also use it raw. (Make sure the potato isn't genetically modified!)
A wash of milk with lime is a great treatment for blackheads. First bring a glass of milk to a gentle boil, and then add juice from half a lime. When the milk cools down it makes a great face wash. You can store it in the fridge for a couple days. (Make sure the milk doesn't come from cattle that have been treated with rBGH)

Clear Skin Remedy
Ingredients:
Besan which is also known as (Gram Flour)
Fresh lemon juice
Yogurt
Turmeric powder (optional)
Method:
Add 1-2 table spoons of gram flour in a small bowl or plate, then add 1-2 teaspoons of dairy yogurt, give it a mix until it creates a good thick paste, when paste is made add 2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice, also add just a pinch of turmeric powder mix all together and apply on whole face. Leave to work and dry for 15-20 minutes, after then wash of smoothly by tapping some water on face and rubbing in a circular motion from there completely wash the face. Once washed tap dry with towel.
AVOID any products with these ingredients (I know Cetaphil has many of them, and Neutrogena may have a few) as they can irritate your skin leading to further break outs and other health problems:
* Mineral Oil, Paraffin %26amp; Petrolatum – Petroleum products coat the skin like plastic, clogging pores and creating a build-up of toxins, which in turn accumulate and can lead to dermatological issues, like slowing cellular development, which can cause you to show earlier signs of aging, and vitamin deficiency. Suspected cause of cancer %26amp; disruptive of hormonal activity. Mineral oils contain hydrocarbons, a real danger to the stomach and especially the lungs.
* PARABENS – Such as methyl- propyl- butyl- %26amp; ethyl- parabens: Widely used as preservatives in the cosmetic industry (including moisturizers). An estimated 13,200 cosmetic and skin care products contain parabens. Studies implicate their connection with cancer. They have hormone-disrupting qualities – mimicking estrogen – and interfere with the body’s endocrine system.
* Propylene Glycol – Used as a moisturizer in cosmetics and as a carrier in fragrance oils. Shown to cause dermatitis, kidney or liver abnormalities, may inhibit skin cell growth, and is a skin irritant and sensitizer.
* ALCOHOLS – Such as Isopropyl Alcohol, SD Alcohol 40, Ethyl Alcohol: Alcohols dissolve the body’s natural moisturizers and strip the skin of its protection, leaving it vulnerable to infection. Alcohols destroy skin’s pH balance, and since they absorb water, they speed up wrinkling.
* Sodium laurel or lauryl sulfate (SLS), also known as sodium laureth sulfate (SLES) – Found in car washes, engine degreasers, garage floor cleaners… and in OVER 90% of personal care products! SLS breaks down the skin’s moisture barrier, easily penetrates the skin, and allows other chemicals to easily penetrate. Combined with other chemicals, SLS becomes a “nitrosamine”, a potent class of carcinogen. It can also cause hair loss. SLES is sometimes disguised with the labeling “comes from coconut” or “coconut-derived'; - and is found in many popular body washes and toothpastes!
* Toluene – Poison! Danger! Harmful or fatal if swallowed! Harmful if inhaled or absorbed through the skin. Made from petroleum or coal tar, and found in most synthetic fragrances. Chronic exposure linked to anemia, lowered blood cell count, liver or kidney damage, and may affect a developing fetus. Butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT) contains toluene. Other names may include benzoic and benzyl.
* WAXES – Such as Paraffin, Candelilla Wax, Carnuba Wax: Waxes are widely used in cleansing creams, eye creams, and moisturizers. Waxes clog pores, creating blackheads and whiteheads. They also smother the skin, which over time creates an enlarged pore problem.
* FD%26amp;C – When this abbreviation precedes the name of a color, it means that the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) has certified it as safe for use in drugs and cosmetics, but not food. D%26amp;C colors are usually synthetic, coal tar colors. They’re toxic and should be avoided when at all possible.
* PHTHALATES – These chemicals rarely find their way onto an ingredients list, but they are present in many health and beauty products just the same. Wherever you see “perfume” or “fragrance,” phthalates are present, because they are used to preserve these synthetic scents. Recent studies have shown that phthalates may be mutagenic, carcinogenic, and adversely affect male sperm, that they increase levels of testosterone and estrogen in humans, and are central to breast cancer risk. They are an ingredient in nail polish and other lacquers, and in soft plastics (e.g., infant chew toys).
* Lanolin – A yellow, semi-solid, fatty secretion from sheep’s wool is widely used in skin and beauty care products. It can cause an allergic reaction in some people, as well as enlarged pores.
* Acetone – Used in nail polish and nail polish removers, this colorless, volatile liquid is often used in astringents, fresheners, or clarifying lotions. It is extremely toxic and will dehydrate the skin, while speeding up the aging process.
* Acrylamide – Found in many hand and face creams. Linked to mammary tumors in lab research.
* Phenol carbolic acid – Found in many lotions and skin creams. Can cause circulatory collapse, paralysis, convulsions, coma and even death from respiratory failure.
* Dioxane – Found in compounds known as PEG, Polysorbates, Laureth, ethoxylated alcohols. Common in a wide range of personal care products. The compounds are usually contaminated with high concentrations of highly volatile 1,4-dioxane, easily absorbed through the skin. Dioxane’s carcinogenicity was first reported in 1965 and later confirmed in studies including one from the National Cancer Institute in 1978. Nasal passages and liver are the most vulnerable. Dioxane is easily removed during the manufacturing process by “vacuum stripping”. Warning: It is a synthetic derivative of coconut. Watch for hidden language on labels, such as “comes from coconut”.
IF SO, you should throw them away IMMEDIATELY and Tell ALL your friends and family!!! (Extra-virgin olive and/or coconut oils are great alternative moisturizers, and they contain natural sunscreens, until you find something else without these toxins) Hope this helps!!! Good Luck!!!!!Skincare for oily and acne prone skin?
All of the products you use are synthetic meaning they will make your skin good, but after a while using them you can get cancer, etc...i suggest using something like delizioso skincare products, or 100% pure, i know they may not have sunscreen but its worth it at the end :)

I'm not familiar with the products you listed, but I use the Proactiv skin care system, and it works very well for me. I also use Neutrogena oil free acne wash (cream cleanser) - this helps a lot with the oily skin.

Skincare tips for sensitive, acne-prone skin?
Right now I wash my face twice every day - once in the morning, and once in the evening. I use the Clearasil foaming anti-acne cleanser, and then moisturize with Aveeno Positively Radiant Face Lotion.
Acne break-outs on my forehead are minimal, maybe one or two small pimples every month. But the skin around my mouth and lower cheeks get VERY dry and sometimes flaky, especially with the winter weather.
I want to switch to a heavier moisturizer or one of those ';gentle'; cleansers, but I'm afraid that I'll get more break-outs with those. What should I do? (wash my face ONCE a day instead of twice, maybe?)Skincare tips for sensitive, acne-prone skin?
You need a gentle cleanser on your face so you don't irritate it while washing. The stuff you are using is not that great -- it leaves a yucky film on your face. My suggestions are Spectrogel or Cetaphil. I used to have problem skin myself, and honestly Cetaphil is the best thing to use. They also carry a moisturizer that is non-greasy. Don't get the face wash or the moisturizer in the oily skin variety though, just get the normal ones. Then, when you go to bed at night use something like Panoxyl (spelling?) that has a 5% benzol peroxide content.
Most of the other so called ';acne products'; out there do not actually help clear up your face. If the cetaphil+benzol peroxide combo does not help at all (and you must follow this routine every day for at least 3-4 weeks before you decide if it's working), then you should see a dermatologist. They might perscribe an oral medication for you or a stronger benzol peroxide.Skincare tips for sensitive, acne-prone skin?
Here is the routine you should try. It works great!
Cleanser - Papaya Foaming Cleanser
Acne Treatment - Medicated Acne Spot Treatment (very strong so only use it on the spots).
Moisturizer - Hydrating Creme Concentrate (oil, petroleum, alcohol free).
The papaya cleanser will gently and naturally dissolve dead skin, oils and dirt from you skin and leave a ';clean slate'; to start with.
Put the Medicated Spot Treatment on your acne spots before you go to bed abs the spot will be gone by morning. The best part is it only dries out the spot and not your whole face.
The Hydrating Creme Concentrate will not just moisturize it will hydrate and heal your dry skin. It will not just cover up the dryness with mineral oils and petroleum jelly like conventional moisturizers.

yeah wash your face once or switch to a higher quality cleanser they wont dry your face out. if youre only washing your face once do it in the morning so you can get all of the bacteria that have been sitting there all night off.
i tht ur shld consult a nsc doc first..umm then u shld buy acne cream frm watson which cost (4plus) and buy cucumber(in bottle) and aloe vera mask frm face shop..u can buy tea tree pr0ducts..they suit sensitive skin like me..btw i tht u shld try acne facial..it w0rks f0r me..umm u can try sg website like 88db, jean yip, bodyshop and others!

Good skincare routine for mild acne and acne scars?
Sorry for reposting, I didnt get many responses last time...My skin is very fair and I have mild acne which is manly an occasional pimple or 2, but whiteheads and black heads on the chin, forehead, and cheeks. Also, I have a good deal of minor acne scars that are noticeable due to my fair skin. I have combination skin and it is not sensitive. I currently use the Clean %26amp; Clear Advantage system and although it keeps my acne under control, it doesn't give me that blemish free face I'm looking for. I know that everyone's skin reacts differently to different products and I don't have enough money for a dermatologist. Any suggestions on a good skincare routine would be appreciated or tips and tricks to good skin.

15 minutes agoGood skincare routine for mild acne and acne scars?
I have reeeaallly sensitive skin. I mean one pimple, black head what ever I get a scar to go along with it.
I suggest the Clinique treatment (I only buy the purple bottle out of the three) and it leaves my skin clear and it is a really quick cleanser (which is good because I am a lazy teenager=) )
It clears my skin and if i ';feel'; like I'm about to break out i just put it on and I'm fine. It gets rid of my acne so I can move on to clearing up the scars I have rather than creating more =)
oh and I hated proactiv =)
good luck!

Can you please help with my Skincare Project?(Broken Capillaries, Pigmentation, Acne Vulgaris &Rosacea)?
Hi!I am currently doing a Beauty Specialist Course and for my 1st project I need to find and Salon, Medical, Alternative, Dietary or Herbal etc treatments for all the above conditions. There isn't much on the net especially for Pigmentation. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Can you please help with my Skincare Project?(Broken Capillaries, Pigmentation, Acne Vulgaris %26amp;Rosacea)?
Look up cosmetic laser treatments on the net. There are a variety of different laser treatments for the skin problems you have listed. Dependent on the type of laser it would be classed as either salon or medical. Also try looking up microdermabrasion. There's a book called ';Away With Wrinkles'; which is a good source of information (look it up on Amazon). Good luck with your project! Can you please help with my Skincare Project?(Broken Capillaries, Pigmentation, Acne Vulgaris %26amp;Rosacea)?

When you go get skincare from a professional..... is it worth it if you have a little bit of acne?
when you go get skincare from a profession and they have this thing called a ';acne care'; where they pop all your pimples, whiteheads and blackheads for you. how long does it take to heal and does it look red ? for how many days? When you go get skincare from a professional..... is it worth it if you have a little bit of acne?
http://z3.invisionfree.com/Paranoid_Forums/index.php?act=idxWhen you go get skincare from a professional..... is it worth it if you have a little bit of acne?
no
If this is a problem for you then I would get it done. It will not feel the best and it will be red for a few days if they are deep but if you go to a dermatologist and get it taking care of you will feel better and better every-time you look in the mirror. You will have to keep up a regiment but when you see how good you look that won't be a problem. Ask if there is any inexpensive over the counter products you can use after they get it under control. Good Luck
Don't do that! It will hurt, and it won't prevent future breakouts!
Try Proactiv, it's GREAT!! I didn't have BAD acne, but it was consistent. It works great!

What are the best natural skincare products for acne-prone skin?
My skin is combination, sensitive (as in I am prone to dryness, breakouts, and severe hives), and very acne prone. I just began to use Dr. Bronner's Magic soap (diluted, of course!) on my face. It cleans very well, but now that I have an organic soap, I figured I may as well opt for an organic toner, moisturizer, and spot treatment.
For a toner, I'm assuming it will need to be witch hazel based, but I'm not sure if I should just use Dickinson's or something else (Thayer's?)
For a moisturizer, all I need is something that will keep my face soft and moist and not break me out. That's always the tough one to find :(
For a spot treatment I know I'll need tea tree oil, but what is the best brand?
Thanks in advance!
PS- is there anything natural that will help acne scars? What are the best natural skincare products for acne-prone skin?
LUSH COSMETICS.
i buy everything from there.
it's natural and inexpensive.
check them out online or if you have a store near you.

Try Burt's Bees acne roll on, you can buy it at CVS for around $8 a tube. It works magic.
I recommend Vasoline Cocoa Butter lotion - not only it is gentle, but it smells great and really soothes skin - it's perfect for any complexion.

Try Burt's Bees acne roll on, you can buy it at CVS for around $8 a tube. It works magic.

What are the best skincare products for acne-prone skin?
I am currently using the Proactiv Solution and have seen minimal results. At night I put Queen Helene's Mint Julep Mask on trouble areas and wash it off in the morning, and it appears to be working better than Proactiv alone. My skin's not horrible, but the impurities I have are frustrating and will NOT go away. If you have found any brands and products that work fast and are available at drugstores, that would be very helpful. Proactiv is too expensive for my taste and seems to not be worth the price. Thanks in advance :)What are the best skincare products for acne-prone skin?
Proactiv didn't work for me, I've tried so many things and nothing ever works..
The only thing that works for me is 'Minocycline', which was prescribed by my dermatologist. I have a lot of acne and am so thankful something finally works.
I highly recommend it.
Also important is EPA DHA....
If you want to control acne breakouts, you need to supplement your diet with fish oils which contain omega-3 and omega-6 oils. These fish oil also contains EPA and DHA fatty acids which are necessary for creating prostaglandins.
Postaglandins also keep androgen hormones in control so that excess sebum is not produce in the hair follicle, which results in acne.
Umm yeah the last part is a little crazy lol but it does help!!What are the best skincare products for acne-prone skin?
Yeah the first like 5 weeks I think it was I couldn't see any results and my dermatologist said it could take 8 weeks for everything to clear up. Continue taking it, it really works!! Report Abuse
First: Proactiv doesn't work, all it does it dry your skin out to the point where you don't care anymore about tha acne, but the fact that you can't move your mouth without your skin craking.
Second: For a good acne solution, I don't have a specific brand, I'm afraid, but a topical solution along with a good facial cleanser is probably your best bet. If you're really serious, and willing to spend a WHOLE LOT of money, there is acutane, but I wouldn't recomment it. it works wonders, but the price is really dramatic.
i'm sorry if I didn't help any.
I had really bad spots but then I got a couple of decent products. First off I use Carex Sensitive liquid soap and then rinse it off. After that, I use diluted Dettol in the morning (make sure it's diluted enough or it'll burn your face off) and Clean%26amp;Clear Blackhead Clearing Cleanser at night. I usually leave the cleanser on for 10 minutes and then rinse, because if you don't rinse it (a) stings like hell and (b) gets sticky and attracts dirt.
Water to remove oils, pad dry, applied twice daily, avoid sun exposure, avoid foods that aggravate symptoms (nuts, grease, chocolate), avoid stress. Other than that, which is mainly prevention, I heard that Vitamin E creme might help.
quinoderm is very good
I try to use OTC products that are readily available and less expensive .. in researching from different websites I find that it's important to not only clean your skin but deep clean your pores.
Simply using a oil-free toner with cotton rounds that you can get from the drug store to wipe over your face using the cotton round with the toner you will see that your pores are still dirty, as you use another clean toner soaked cotton round until it comes clean. Then your pores will be completely clean and use a acne cleansing pad such as Oxy Wash for example it will be more effective, for the pimples after using the acne cleansing pad use the acne spot treatment.. again you can get this from the drug store.
As Gibbo says, you must also include an oil-free and cleansing diet, no fried foods no baked goods as these have oil in it and contribute to your oily skin, consider a weekly steaming of your dface to open your pores to remove impurities.
Remove dead skin by using either a facial sponge or facial brush .. unfortunately you must be patient when it comes to acne even with this regimen you will still get a zit or two but if you follow this routine twice daily it will keep the breakouts to a minimum

Whats the best skincare for mild acne?
well, i have fair skin. im caucasion and i really want to see an invisible improvement to my skin. i have combination skin thats oily in the t-zone and very dry on my cheeks. Then i have about 7 pimples on my forehead, 3 white heads on my chin, and about 2 very microscopic pimples on the side of my nose. My skin is somewhat sensitive because i tried that Neutrogena pink grape fruit wash and i broke out in hives .i burnt so bad. it happened about 1 week ago and its gone now. but i usually just use St.ives apricot scrub 3 days a week. then i wash my face every morning and night with sensitive dove bar soap. then i use a moisturizer after which is Clean and Clear soft. I also wear makeup so something that will unclog my pores will be great. Thanks so much and ive asked this question so much and never get answered. So please help anbd thankyou!!!
all my love,
jen!!!!! instant ten points for best answerWhats the best skincare for mild acne?
I have the same skin type as yours. But no zits now. Here is what I do. It is a lot but very worth it!!!!
My skin care routine:
Morning %26amp; Night:
-Aveeno Clear Complexion Cream Cleanser
-Neutrogena Alcohol-Free Toner
-Aveeno Clear Complexion Daily Moisturizer
-Clean %26amp; Clear Persa Gel 10 (only at night)
Other:
-Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque (once a week)
-St. Ives Apricot Scrub (twice a week)
Well here are some good habits I do to have clear skin:
~ Cleanse, Tone, Moisturize ( twice a day).
~ Change your pillow cases every week.
~ Change your bed sheets around every 2-4 weeks.
~ Don't pick you face/acne.( Because I stopped this one I only have ONE zit on my face!!!! I loving it!)
~ When you go to grab that can of soda, try some water instead.
~ Exfoliate you face twice a week (w/ a scrub).
Hope this Helps!
p.s. I got home around 2am and I still washed my face before bed lol!Whats the best skincare for mild acne?
baking soda. mix with water to make a paste. put of your face until dry.
it works i promise. try to do it once a week.
ALSO
a big one is exercise, my skin cleared up ALL THE WAY after exercising for about 5-7 days.
try clindamycin phosphate.
stridex pads
work great every time
Nothing, I've been to the doctor's recently for my spots, they told me that f you buy a spot cream from a shop it's not going to work it will make your pause worse and make more spots because it get's more oily :O
because they won't have the right ingredients in for everyone so DO NOT buy a spot cream from any shop.
Go to your Doctor and they will get the right one for your skin instead of making them worse, it can take a bit of time for the Doctor's to get the rigt spot cream for your skin, but the will get it eventaully :)
Hope this helps! x
oh i know how you feel about that
i've got exactly the same problem
had the same skin type and used the products ^_^
so i think this will help you
-first: try to use the products (facewash, toner, acne treatment,moisturizer....ect...) that are in the same brand or/and collection
u know wat im talking about rite--
- and stop using neutrogena pink grapfruit wash thingy,,because you have sensitive skin, and it will make your skin dry and break out
and yes burn too
-so here's what i did and it worked for me,now i have okay skin, not perfect but no more pimples ^_^ ...and like i said ,we have same type of skin ,same experience so this would work for you too
- i used Acne Free....the kind that came in a white box, with face wash, toner, and repair lotion) they have it in walmart, target, cvs for about $17 ---you gotta buy it-----------it doesnt irritate ur skin, doesnt make it dry, really gentle and will clear your face for about 2 months or less........the box said 2 weeks but nah,,,,1 or 2 months will do
- so yea use it in the morning and at night....read instruction btw ---and i know you will have no problem using it---it really gentle and work really good
-and then after 2 months or so,,if your face is clearing up ,,,,and u have used all the ''acne free'' products.....buy a set of neutrogena acne stress power wash,,,srub ....
they will renew your face and ''slowly'',,,you will have normal to perfect skin again
but be patient anyway,,,and it healthy food, drink lots of water :)
oh use a good moisturizer before put on make up
try clean and clear advantage moisturizer,,,,,it makes ur skin smooth and clear ur ance ---how great
^_^ i hope this help.....bad girls club

Any recommendations for skincare for mild acne prone skin?
Ok my skin has mild breakouts but nonetheless they are frustrating. I'm oily in the T-zone %26amp; nose, which is exactly where I tend to breakout. I've tried a TON of products from Estee Lauder, Yonka, Olay, RoC, LUSH, Korres, Clinique etc. My skin will look great a few months and then start breaking out. Any solutions or product recommendations? Please don't recommend a dermatologist. I've gone to one and tried all the topicals %26amp; prescription meds before, I've even tried Tanda and nothing has helped much. Could it be that switching products all the time is causing me to breakout?Any recommendations for skincare for mild acne prone skin?
Switching products could very well be aggravating the skin. I try to stick to a solid routine myself, but I also use Epiduo, which helps.
Queen Helene products are pretty awesome and effective. I especially love their masks. Try the Mint Julep or Grape Seed mask. The Mint Julep can be drying, but it cleans pores really well. Just follow with a moisturizer. Even their Mud Pack mask is good. Try a mask!Any recommendations for skincare for mild acne prone skin?
try using a face wash, astrigent, and toner daily. also use a spot treatment if you see something coming.
Try an acne treatment kit, like proactive or clean and clear. The kits provide everything to prevent and stop acne in their tracks.
i heard that putting honey on your face can help if nothing has helped its worth a try i guess

Do Burt's Bees skincare products help acne???????????
I started breaking out after using a foundation I'm allergic to. And now I don't know how to get rid of it! It's like all over my face! I used to have such a clear and flawless face, but now it's just terrible! I can't show my face to anyone until it's all gone!! I heard that Burt's Bees products can help. Like their Blemish stick and theire Tomatoe washes.

Thanks guys!Do Burt's Bees skincare products help acne???????????
burts bees makes AWFUL washes and lotions (they make you break out even more- i know this because i have sensitive skin too and i'm 'allergic' to most foundation), but the spot treatments they make are so incredibly good.
their blemish stick is the only acne product i use now, and after using it religiously (2x a day on all my spots and blemishes) for a few weeks i have ridiculously clear, perfect skin. you have to be careful with it though- if you roll it on all over your face, it'll sting like crazy and you'll never want to use it again. just spot-treat with it, and in time everything will smooth out and look beautiful. and you notice results in a few hours- pimples, etc. will DISAPPEAR if you use it a few times in a day.
essentially that's the only recommendation of burts bees i can make. the lip balm and blemish stick are both AMAZING. but the washes and lotions they make will definitely only make your skin worse. good luck!Do Burt's Bees skincare products help acne???????????
I think that Burt's Bees products are going to help put more moisture into your skin rather than help treat acne. Personally I would recommend using pro active if it is really a terrible breakout, but if you cannot afford that, astringent works well to help clear up acne. Try finding an ';on the spot acne treatment.'; Those work very well on my skin and I hope they'll work for you too! Hope your skin clears up. Good luck.
burt's bees products are excellent because they're organic.
i've tried the blemish stick and it worked, but it stung quite a bit.
i haven't tried the tomato wash though, but judging by their other products i'm sure it would help.
yea

Any skincare tips for acne prone and oily skin. im 13 y.o btw?
proactive is ok, but i have a friend who used it and he said it did nothing, it did clear up his oily skin, but the acne problem was not solved. I would recommend Clean and Clear (i think) becuase it helps me get rid of zits or i would use Clearsil, which is a topical cream for acne and acne scars. Hope it helps:)Any skincare tips for acne prone and oily skin. im 13 y.o btw?

Has anyone tried Obagi skincare for acne?
I've tried everything from accutane to proactiv... and my acne is still very active at 28 yrs old.
My doctor mentioned Obagi (primary care physician not dermatologist).
My dermatologist's only recommendation is to go back on accutane- I'm not sure I want that potent stuff in my system again... kids may be in the near future...
Any feedback would great positive and negative.
thank you

Skincare and acne scars?
My skin is very fair and I have mild acne which is manly an occasional pimple or 2, but whiteheads and black heads on the chin, forehead, and cheeks. Any suggestions on a good skincare routine would be appreciated or tips and tricks to good skin.Skincare and acne scars?
Okay, so I have acne scars and what I use to get rid of those is either:
1) Buy Bio-Oil (you can find it at your general drugstore; Target, Walmart, etc.) and just a little bit on your finger and rub it on your scar for about a minute or so until it feels somewhat dry. Do this for a couple of days and it should go away.
2) You can buy zinc magnesium calcium pills. (Again, at your general drugstore. I suggest Target) and you can crunch them up, then put them into a dish, drop some water on it, then stir it around until it gets kind of milky. Then you take a Q-Tip and put it on the acne scar before you go to bed. You can do this for a couple nights and the scar should dimish over time.
For your mild acne:
I'd say try some Neutrogena products. I use the Neutrogena oil free acne wash pink grapefruit foaming scrub in the morning. It clears my blackheads up and it makes me skin feel so soft. My skin is kind of oily, and not sensitive. It will hopefully clear up everything.
At night you could try using Bior茅 products. These help so well! The thing that might help is the Pore Unclogging scrub. I use that before I go to bed and it feel so nice! It has a minty kind of smell and it coos down your face. It also has some beeds it in to help your skin. Try washing your face with WARM water, then putting this stuff on (only like a pinky point size) and then put it all over your face. Leave it on for about 30 seconds to a minute so it can work into your skin, then wash it off with WARM water.
After you do this, try putting the Bior茅 Triple Action Astringent (it's a green liquid and it comes in a bottle about 8 oz. Maybe 6) on a tissue or something, and gently put it all over your face. If your face gets too dry, then you can moisterize with another moisterizer then just go to bed after that. Your acne maybe will clear if you do this for a couple weeks to months.Skincare and acne scars?
Definitely keep up with the washing. You could try Aveeno face wash. I love the way it feels.
I've been using Coconut Oil on my skin for about a week now and I love it. A friend of mine suggested it. She uses it on the ends of her hair (very small amount or it'll be oily) and as a lotion for body and face. It feels very soft and supposedly heals burns and renews skin. You can get it at WalMart for 10 bucks

Do the Dove skincare line help improve acne prone skin and oily skin?
ti can be better then most soaps because it wont clog up your pores.Do the Dove skincare line help improve acne prone skin and oily skin?
I've found that the Dove skin care line makes my skin more oily. I'm a big believer in the Neutragena products. They've always worked for me.Do the Dove skincare line help improve acne prone skin and oily skin?
Spring for the Proactiv:)
i find that it really does, cuz its not very harsh, and i have sensitive skin, so it just cleans my face good without adding any harsh chemicals(which can make your skin break out more). i deffinately recomend using dove!
That is so strange, my sister was literally telling me about two hours ago how good she found the Dove skincare range (though she was raving about the self tanning lotion). I used to use their facial cleanser, and found it really good, only reason I changed was that I chose to get a cheaper one last time!
Everyone's skin is different so different things can be helpful, but I've found that dove is very helpful.I had acne all over my face. I used dove for several days and bit by bit the acne went away.
im not sure if dove clears up acne, but it is a great product! i use it most of the time in the shower.
If u want to clear up acne you should go with the NEUTROGENA skin care line - it works great for acne!
http://www.neutrogena.com/home_3.asp
No I've tried dove and it isn't very good for oily skin or acne prone skin. Try clean and clear daily facial scrub or fresh foam wash, use it before you go to bed and when you walk up. I use it everyday and my skin is soft,spot-free and clean, it's so good that i don't were make up anymore!
i had terrible skin in high school. and here's what i found:
-proactive worked for about a month for me and then my skin went back to the way it was
-accutane is a very very strong medicine/antibiotic, but works wonders and works for the rest of your life even after taking it. everyone i know who used it has found success. and long term success. but make no mistake it's a very serious and strong medicine which you will need to talk to your doctor in order to get.
-here is my routine....it will seem nuts/neurotic, but has always worked for me:
--in the morning in the shower i use cetaphil cleanser
--at night i use origins mint wash every other nite. the other nites in between i use biore acne cleanser. every night after washing i use neutrogena on the spot all over and for a bad pimple here and there i use murad acne spot treatment.
--i know a lot of people have found success with murad's acne complex kit as well.
-try to use gentle cleansers and don't use a scrub too often
-also keep moisturizing no matter what! find an oil free formula
-keep trying different things but stick with them for at least a few weeks. sometimes it takes time to find results.
-also be patient....it doesn't clear up overnight unfortunately.
-again what works for one person doesn't for another so you just kind have to do trial and error
im nt sure but try it,it might be right
I have used many of the products listed on the market. The one I am using now and seems to work very well is St. Iveys Blemish Control for Oily skin. It goes for about 3-4 dollars and last a good while. You might want to look into some kind of clay mask to use 1-2 times per week. Make sure it is for acne/ blemish control.
I have found over the years as your skin changes and you get older you may be changing products until you have one that works good enough to satisfy your needs.
Good Luck:)

Vegans I need help what are acne skincare products good to use for my acne?
I'm becoming a vegan this Monday! :D (have to wait till mother gets pied to buy vegan foods!) anyways I was wondering what is a good product to use on my face I have acne very bad and I'm not a young teen! I'm between 17-24 years old. I'm a female. The reason I ask is skinID and proactive did not wore they make my acne worse and all the stuff you buy in drugs stores and target don't work either. I'm starting college this fall and want to have clear skin and I also want vegan friendly products
Please help me links are great :D
10 points best answer!!! :D:D:DVegans I need help what are acne skincare products good to use for my acne?
your acne might be from internal toxins and hormones
To clear that up the vegan diet will help but you need to do some internal cleansing too like colonics, saunas, epsom salt baths.
Get the book The Raw Food Detox diet. by Natalia Rose
A good skin care line that is also affordable is
Paula's choice she has an acne line that is good. You will need a benzoyl peroxide and a salicylic acid (BHA exfoliating) But topical treatments will not work magic and clear it up right away you will need to get the toxins out of your body too.

ok drink loads of water. 8 galsses a day. clean your face with soap and water. usea soap that agrees with your skin. eat lots of garlic. garlic it a herb that is great for curing sickness and bad skin. actually, you acn peal some garlic and rub it on your acne. it should help. and eat lots of garlic also
I swear by the ';oil cleansing method';. Google it.
I alternate between Olive Oil (extra virgin), Almond Oil (from almonds, lighter than olive), and Jojoba Oil (plant derived).
it sounds weird...but it works...try it for a a few weeks and you will see.
Veganism itself was able to clear up my skin.
Drink loads of water everyday.
Most people don't drink nearly enough plain old water.
ProActiv made my skin worst as well. Go to your doctor and prescribe Accutane. Your acne will be gone garunteed. It is the world's most effective acne treatment. Google it.bad girls club

I have had alot of ance in my forehead before but now i have scars and dark spots left behind from those pimples..i was wondering if the Origins Scrub would work even out my skin tone..i have combinition skin type..oily and dark T-zone. Some one Help please..any suggestions would be great!!!! thankxDoes Origins skincare remove acne scars? if not what does??
You can use any kind of scrub as long as it has micro beads that will gently slough off any dead skin. The ones with broken up fruit seeds like St. Ives Apricot scrub will irritate and cut delicate facial skin. You should also get some fade cream which has 2% hydroquinone in it.Does Origins skincare remove acne scars? if not what does??
Porcelana, you can get it at walgreens, rite-aid, cvs etc. it'll help lighten up the dark spots, and lots of sun block!

What the skin needs is a product that clears pores and kills bacteria, thus preventing hair follicles from clogging and turning into acne. This is what you should be looking for if you want to get rid of those ugly acne.

Need acne skincare routine advice.?
I current am using the Clearasil Ultra Solutions Kit that recently came out. I have in the past used Proactiv and Exposed.
My current routine consists of:
1. Cleaning face with Clearasil face wash
2. Using the Clearasil Toner
3. Using the lotion moisturizer provided
4. Applying 10% Bzp medicatoin ( Clearasil)
Twice a week I use the refining mask (sulfur) left over from my proactiv, I take 2 vitamins a day, tums, exercise, shower 1-2 times a day and do this routine day and night. I use oil blotter sheets during the day and sometimes a wet clearasil wipe. I also have a balanced diet and drink 8+ glasses of water a day. Does anyone have any suggestions as to improve my routine -- I have moderate acne. Please no product suggestions.. except I need to find a new mask to put on twice a week after mine runs out (pref sulfur). Thanks!!Need acne skincare routine advice.?
This would be my suggestion although you are currently doing everything correctly
Use good quality skincare. You wont get any benefits if you are using cheap products from a chemist or supermarket.
*Cleanse twice using a slightly foaming cleanser (Once the acne clears up then use a milky cleanser) , use cool water NOT hot or warm as you will aggrevate the acne.
*apply a non- alcoholic lotion all over face
* apply a light oil free moisturiser
* Exfoliate using a soft exfoliant ( do not use anything with granules) twice a week and follow it off with a drying, mud face mask.
Do all this and you should see results after 1 week.
** Try not to touch your face throughout the day-you will spread dirt and contaminate your skin.
You are doing the right thing drinking a lot of water as hydrated skin will heal itself a lot quicker than dehydrated.
The main thing that I would suggest to you, and this is hard without actuallu seeing your skin. But because you have only moderate acne the skin care that you are using may be drying out your skin, therefore your skin will produce too much oil trying to over compensate. So your sebum levels may be all over the place and most likely over productive.
I know that you said no product recommendations but if you continue to use cheap products such as Clearasil you wont see results. I'm not saying that you need to use any like La Prarie but maybe something in the middle range like Algologie. It is natural and seaweed based and is quite cheap. Your full skin care range would only cost about AU $150 and will last you over 3 months
I hope this helps you out a bitNeed acne skincare routine advice.?
I do very similiar stuff. Maybe eat more fruits and veggies..it can help tone your skin and make you feel healthier. ;)
use rubbing alcohol
if the routine you are following is not working for you, or you wish to improve your results try using products that contain: alpha hydroxy acid (glycolic acid) , and beta hydroxy acid (salicylic acid) these help eliminate dead skin cells which in turn keeps them from clogging your pores, and these acids can help with scarring, also try not to over wash your face this will dry your skin out and then your face will overcompensate by producing more oil,
its not a mask but st. ives apricot scrub for blackheads is really effective- also try biore warming blackhead cleanser, and there's an ice cleanser to follow that with
hope this helped
Try Murad products for a mask. they usually use sulfur in their products.
Go to a dermatologist. He or she will be able to assess your situation and prescribe something that will work well for you. I was dealing with moderate acne using over the counter products and nothing worked for me either. The derm knew exactly what to do and now I'm clear.

Does anyone know of an organic skincare range that is not too expensive and is good for acne prone/oily skin?
I'm don't remember the names of the lines *sorry* but Whole Foods Market has some skincare lines that ';organic';; or you can try other health food stores as well. They have lines that are not too expensive. I would look for products that have Tea Tree or lavendar in them as they are suppose to help oily acne prone skin. You could also try to look at Burt's Bee or The Body Shop (not sure how organic they really are). Remember that oily skin does need to have some moisture; if you over strip the skin, it ends up producing oil to make up for lost moisture. Good luck!Does anyone know of an organic skincare range that is not too expensive and is good for acne prone/oily skin?
its hard to tell wat is really a good skincare range because they all differ. go see a pharmicist or doctor they can tell u the best thing to get because everyone differs, some products work best on some people and not others. try seeing ur friends or other people that have some products that u can try and see if they work on u. it can be a bit embarressing but it saves alot of money.Does anyone know of an organic skincare range that is not too expensive and is good for acne prone/oily skin?
I recommend using a tea tree soap bar twice a day. Then after apply Tea Tree Oil. It is natural and the oil is an antiseptic so it kills germs on your skin. It doesn’t dry out my face or clog pores. I have been using it for a few months and my skin is 100% different. Make sure you use it everyday. You will see results in a week. You can buy it at health stores and one brand I use is “Thursday Plantation”. It is about 15$. I highly recommend this practice. It really works and is good for your skin! :) Good luck
hi..
don't use any chemical product..
use a homemade natural product..

1) wash ur face with kuke warm water. pat it dry by soft clean towel. then apply the mixture of neem powder and turmeric powder in same quantity, by make it paste with rose water. in ur eyelids put a cotton which dipped in cold milk .. let it dry for half an hour and wash it with luke warm water, then splash the cold water(not too cold)..
NOTE: if u have a cold body, don't use this...
2) take 5 spoon of coconut milk and add 2 spoon of turmeric powder .. mix well. apply it on the face for same time, then wash it off.. pat dry. it really cures the acne and acne mark.. it also give more complexion...
do it for a month... no side effect at all...
For regular use , use baby lotion which contian vitamin E...
ok...
use it and tell the result..
its hard to tell wat is really a good skincare range because they all differ. go see a pharmicist or doctor they can tell u the best thing to get because everyone differs, some products work best on some people and not others. try seeing ur friends or other people that have some products that u can try and see if they work on u. it can be a bit embarressing but it saves alot of money.Does anyone know of an organic skincare range that is not too expensive and is good for acne prone/oily skin?
I recommend using a tea tree soap bar twice a day. Then after apply Tea Tree Oil. It is natural and the oil is an antiseptic so it kills germs on your skin. It doesn’t dry out my face or clog pores. I have been using it for a few months and my skin is 100% different. Make sure you use it everyday. You will see results in a week. You can buy it at health stores and one brand I use is “Thursday Plantation”. It is about 15$. I highly recommend this practice. It really works and is good for your skin! :) Good luck

What is the best skincare line for combination skin that is acne prone for African American skin & fade cream?
I have tried Proactiv...it just did not work for me...Any and all suggestions would be great..What is the best skincare line for combination skin that is acne prone for African American skin %26amp; fade cream?
One option you can try is All Clear from BeautiControl. It seems to work well for all skin types. If it does dry your skin too much there are other options within their other skin care lines that you can substitute to suit your skin's needs.
As for fade cream...what is the specific need for it. There may be something in their product line for that as well. But, I would need more information to better answer. You're welcome to email me.
Hope that helps! What is the best skincare line for combination skin that is acne prone for African American skin %26amp; fade cream?
It depends I would see a doctor and then they can prescribe you something that will work. They will either give a prescription or cream.(well they did for me)

Please answer...I need some good skincare products to treat acne for sensitive skin?
I have reallllllly sensitive skin that has redness and very oily :(
i dont have alot of acne,,,,just a new one or two pimple everyweek ( i think thats not alot ?? )
i really need some skincare products, cleanser, toner, moisturizer, trea鈥?cream for sensitive skin
i prefer products with natural ingredients , not the one with strong chemical
any thing would help,,,drugstore, department products....ectPlease answer...I need some good skincare products to treat acne for sensitive skin?
I recommend you give Philosophy's Purity Made Simple a try. It is the BEST facial cleanser ever. It is so milky so it moisturizes your face, it also acts as a makeup remover (for non waterproof makeup) as well as a toner! It is a little pricey but you only need like a dime size to completely layer your face. My skin is SUPER sensitive and this was so gentle and actually helped it get healthier. Here is a review about this product, and it has like some pictures in case you wanna research if this would work right for you http://theultimatemakeup.com/blog/2009/0鈥?/a>
To be on the safe side, I would just get it at Sephora because they have best return policy ever. So if you didn't like it after you use it, you can just go back and return it for the full amount you paid. Oh! and it is very gentle and has Sephora's Natural approval seal
Please let me know if you have any other specific questions about this and I would be super glad to help you! Please answer...I need some good skincare products to treat acne for sensitive skin?
-clean and clear
-netraguena
-proactive
-netraguena skin ID
you can find the first two at like target or CVS ( %26lt;----- not so sure about the cvs)?
The last two your would have to order it online or by phone ( proactive phone/online)
Netraguana ( online I don't know about on the phone but online yeah!)
I would advise clean and clear sensitive skin foaming cleanser. Also try aveeno mosturizer. St. Ives apricot scrub is AMAZING and verrrryy healthy and natural.
I would try using neutrogena. Get the ones with microbeads in it. It really helps get out the oil, dirt, and make up. i dont think it does anything bad to your skin really...
talk to your doctor he can prescribe you some medicine for it!
im not sure what WILL work for you but DO NOT use proactive, its crap....
trust me.

What's the best skincare for acne?????
Okay, I have to take this medicine called Lithium. It's been giving me HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE acne with EXTREMELY huge pimples that are REALLY sore!!! I need a skincare that works because I have to keep taking this medicine. HELP!What's the best skincare for acne?????
first go talk to yer doctor..he can prob help and fix itWhat's the best skincare for acne?????
try nutrogena oil free acne wash it works good
Ok so if your not exaggerating that your pimples are really bad, then I would say DEFINITELY go to a dermatologyist/pimple doctor. I've been to one a couple months ago, he was REALLY helpful. He prescribed me some medicine and these products.. it was kind of expensive but the stuff really helped me a lot.
But if you have mild acne, check this website out:
http://www.free-makeup-tips.com/home-rem鈥?/a> .... I don't know if their remedies really work, but they seem good enough to give it a shot.
Again, I really reccommend going to a dermatologist.. I would say its ur best shot to getting rid of them, but just to let u know its a gradual process, its not gonna be a fast change. The medicine or w/e theyr'e going to give you will take a lot of patience. For me, my skin was clear of pimples in a month, it seems like a long time at 1st, but it goes by fast. I forgot what I was gonna say.. oh yeah!
Another reason why u should go is because most pimple products (for me at least) like ProActiv (which I've been trying for like 2 years before I went to the derm.) works good but it's not GREAT. Like it helps a little, but it's really not worth all that money..
anyways, sorry my answer is a little long but I really hhope u take my advice or consider it at least!!
Try proactiv its great :] but if you want something less expensive try clearasil, or nuetrogena
i use this Tretinoin cream
i got it from my sisters doctor and it helps with people with really bad acne.
its worked for me, my sister, and my boifrend.
its alittle expensive you would have to talk to your doctor but its really good.
it drys up your face so you would have to carry around a non oilly lotion. not hand lotion but something good for your face like the CLINIQUE moisturizing gel.
you can find clinique in macy's its just a booth that sells make up.

My Acne Is Getting Worse Using Exposed Skincare?
I started using exposed skincare about 3 weeks ago, i noticed that the cleanser and gels were quite strong and made my acne red and irritated. Now my acne seems to be getting worse i dont know if thats supposed to happen or not??My Acne Is Getting Worse Using Exposed Skincare?
Try Clinique Skin care line 1-2-3. I had tried tons of other things before I used this and none of them worked. I even tried proactive. Cliniques line has diferent levels for skin that is more sensitive. Hope that helps! My Acne Is Getting Worse Using Exposed Skincare?
I'm not familiar with this product line. What's the active ingredients?
Sounds like you could be having a reaction to the actives. Try Acnederm Medicated Lotion with Azelaic acid.
Azelaic Acid helps reduce the growth of acne-causing bacteria in the pores of the face. This is also the case with products that use benzoyl peroxide as the active, however in scientific trials, Azelaic acid has been proven to be highly effective in treating acne and unlikely to cause scaling or redness. Azelaic acid is also well tolerated which means there is less chance of skin irritation, making it a gentle approach to treating acne. Another benefit is that it won't stain or bleach your clothes, unlike some other acne treatments.
Sometimes Benzoyl peroxide can appear to work faster due to visible changes in the skin such as redness and flaking, however after a number of weeks, the same results are obtained. Azelaic acid is just a more gentle treatment so therefore the results aren鈥檛 as prominent due to there being less visible adverse effects. AcneDerm is available at pharmacies.
use acne free, thats what i use i used to have acne, now i dont! it works wonderful
good luck
stop using it%26gt; its too much for ur skin type!!
you might actually have an allergic reaction to the product thats why most products ask you to do a spot test. Don't continue using this product I would try and get something a little milder ask at your drug store/chemist about getting something to help with your acne. For me personally I found proactiv the best but not everyday only every second day as it was drying out my skin.Always do a spot test first to make sure you won't have an allergic reaction.
Overly strong products can make it worse. Have you tried a mild soap and maybe teatree oil (you can get it in the healthfood stores) they won't strip your skin so much.
Regret not with Skin So Silky - the ultimate skin care solution for any skin type. It works well for acne and dry skin problems. It gives faster and more visible results compare to other common skin products. It is specially made from hands of nature that is why it gives no side effects instead giving you the healthy skin you desire.

Skincare... acne and pimples. Help me?
Hi. I'm 14 years old and I have a pretty tough history of acne. I think I got my frist zit in the 5th grade, and a littel from that point, I began to get little bumps and red spots. I wanted to do something about it, and the very first time I tried a mask for my face, that was the day I was watching how I looked. Even up to this day, If anyone calls me 'ugly' or 'pimple face' or comments anything about my face. I take it to a point where my heart changes its beat. I am self concious about everything to do with my face from discoloration, dryness, cracking, zits and belmishes. I've been making lists of the best type of products to use, and taking online quizzes to find my skin type and prodcuts that suit me. My parents waste so much money for skinscare products and I really want to stop for their sake. In total of all skincare treatments... I have 38 prodcuts standing in my bathroom. Can someone please offer me something that is proven to give good results for combination skin? Please?Skincare... acne and pimples. Help me?
well first off i understand what it is like to have terrible skin.
i had terrible forehead acne that was swollen, painful, and red. it looked like craters planted on my face and i was really self concious and i had hugee blackheads that were completely humiliating. now i have light acne, an occasional swollen pimple (the ones that are just a bump and hurts), and some acne scars.
my skin deff. improved by using a skin drying facial cleanser ( neutrogena acne wash), lightweight oil free moisturizer ( neutrogena acne moisturizer) and stridex maximum acne medicated pads.
the key is consistency, dont use any other washes and wash your face 2X a day.
you might still have problems because you have tried so many products. stick to one specific regimen and if your skin gets worse dont change the regimen. your skin is adpating to the different medications.
i hope it works out, and good luck.Skincare... acne and pimples. Help me?
If all these medications don't help, jump into the pool that has chlorine. Study shows that it DOES help acne because it dries out your skin. Just make sure to take a shower afterwords so your skin can stay moist and not itch all night when you're trying to sleep or something.
The combination of Tea Tree Oil soap and the Clindamycin cream is the best for Acne and pimple. These work wonders. Maybe it will work on you too.

i break out pretty bad once in a while i use St Ives Cleanser for acne seems to clear me up... and i also use a toner...
its not that much 3 dollars if that
before you wash your face wash your hands wash your face every day with a product containing saliciylic acid and stop touching and letting other people touch your face!!!
ok just wash ur face daily and for the skin products, not every product out there might help. some products might even irritate ur skin and make it worse so just find the right one.
Give proactiv time.
Make sure you do it exactly how your suppose to and twice a day.
Maybe you should see a dermatologist....they can definitely help you with you skin issues and find out what the best treatment for you
go see your dermatologist again. i had bad acne when i was 14 and it took a while for it to clear. my suggestion, the medicine i used to clear my face was a combination of oral meds and topical meds....the topical meds i had were evoclin and retin-a....use a tea-tree oil face wash...ask your dermatologist if this will work for you. it worked for me and my acne was bad. i did the same thing as you and tried all the over the counter products but nothing worked. im 16 now and my face is flawless. if your dermatologist uses these meds, be sure to get a moisturizer, your face will get dry. as far as the amount of products you have, dont switch every night....use the same products for weeks at a time, it takes time before you notice the difference. good luck!
hey. i'm 14 too and have the same experiences. i never thought there'd be someone exactly like me. i'm sorta glad that i'm not the only one... but i really can't help you because i haven't had much luck either. but today i went to walmart and bought clean %26amp; clear advantage acne spot treatment. something like that. not the whole package, but the gel part. i've used clear %26amp; clear products before and they usually make my acne better. i'm hoping that it works, and i hope i helped you. good luck, may God and clear skin be with you(:
love, maddi.
Im sorry about ur problem%/..u could try what i did... find the nearest aloe vera plant u can get... cut off a tip...carefully.... cut it in half n heat it up for about 30 seconds.... very carefully, after waiting a while, pinch ur nail into it till u see the juice oozing out(i know it looks gross, but what would u rather have? an oozy face for a while...or ur problem:?...) slowly massage ur face with it concentrating on the bad spots... for best results keep it on overnight;}...ull probly see results soon...good luck n god bless:)
Wow, I'm sorry you've had it so rough with acne. You may want to just go to a dermatologist. I use the clinique 3 step. I've tried the acne one and I've also tried the normal one. I have very oily skin. Benzoyl peroxide makes my face itch though so I can't put it everywhere. You will probably want to use something with salylic acid, benzoyl peroxide and sulfur. It's not going to be 1 magical product it'll probably be like three products. Probably a soap with salylic acid. A lotion/moisturizer with benzoyl peroxide and a sulfur mask. The best sulfur mask i've ever use was made by proactiv however I don't like any of their other products. I hope things start to go better for you. it's hard enough just being 14 years old let alone with acne.
